Remember when I said that the CDC has no reason to lie to you?

Yes, that was less than a year ago. And apparently premature.
Ironically, the post from 2.13.24, "Not your mom's gyno visit, queer and curious edition" does not contain CDC links.
I reviewed my posts, and found crickets on the CDC links. I am truly sorry.
The yellow highlight below reads:
"CDC's website is being modified to comply with President Trump's Executive Orders."

Knowledge is power.

If you scroll to the bottom of this page, you will find easy links to pertinent topics, such as:
you can also search specific topics
Most of my blog links are to non-government sites: American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), Planned Parenthood, World Health Organization (WHO), Cleveland Clinic or Mayo Clinic. I have reviewed these and they are as originally posted.
The challenge with some of the above sites is that they aren't particularly patient friendly. For example, I know that I was looking for a contraceptive table on the WHO site, and I couldn't find it.
NHS (National Health Service) is the British equivalent of NIH (National Institutes of Health, a US site) . The NIH links I have posted appear to be intact. https://www.nih.gov/
The above organizations are my new go-to's. I will try to find equivalents for the CDC sites and update the previous posts.
The reality is that the more an organization relies upon federal funding, the more vulnerable they are to an executive order telling them what to say and how to say it.

It does no good now to argue about who shat the bed--we all have to figure out how to lie in it. Together.
